Seconds to Frames

Intro

Convert a given number of seconds to the equivalent number of frames based on a frame rate.

UI

Seconds - Enter the number of seconds.

FPS - Enter the frame rate. By default, this is connected to the Composition's Frame Rate.

Frames - An output for the equivalent number of frames. The calculation is simply $FPS*Seconds$.

Example

1. Create a Time Marker.
2. Create a Seconds to Frames.
3. Set Seconds to 2.
4. Connect secondsToFrames.frames→timeMarker.absoluteTime.
5. Open the Composition Settings.
6. Change the Frame Rate.

The Time Marker will move to the correct frame that represents 2 seconds at the current Frame Rate.
